ACES | History

ACES was formed in early 1991. The society arised from discussions of the officers at the Regional Gliding School (Atlantic) (RGS(A)).

ACES was incorporated on May 29, 1991 as the Air Currency Enhancement Society ("A.C.E.S."). The Name was chosen to reflect the fact that the society would have access to and be using C-F ACE, one of two original RGS(A) gliders.

The society was strong until approximately 1994. ACES was comprised of 28 members and regularly distributed a Newsletter (Call Sign). Recently, ACES has been active holding Annual General Meeting and currently has 12 members. The following is a list of ACES recent flight history:
